Helge Andreas Norbakken

Helge Andreas Norbakken is a Norwegian drummer.

He played together with Mari Boine, Kari Bremnes, and Maria João. His drum is constructed quite unusual ( he plays a very lowly tuned Rototom with the pedal as a bass drum while he beats the actual bass drum with your hands ) and contains partially -built or modified percussion instruments (cymbals, metal plates ) and everyday objects (car steel wheels on a cymbal stand ). In addition, he used African drums. This set he plays preferably with Hotrods ( broom -like sticks) and fagots, and sometimes with their bare hands. His style is very cautious, and only rarely (and drum solo ) leads to explosive moments.
