Heli Jukkola

Heli Annikki Jukkola (* November 26, 1979 in Noormarkku ) is a Finnish orienteer.

2002 Junior World Champion Season 1998 ran for the first time at a European Championship. A year later she won at the World Championships in Switzerland behind Simone Luder from Switzerland and Hanne Staff from Norway bronze medal on the middle distance. There were other medals at World Championships in 2004 and 2005 before with the Finnish relay ( Paula Haapakoski, and Minna Kauppi Jukkola ) won gold in 2006. The Finns were also season European Champions this year and were able to defend their title successfully in 2007 at the World Championships in Kiev. In addition Jukkola and Kauppi 2007 were at the same time world champions on the long distance. 2008 Heli Jukkola won on the middle distance the European title.

Jukkola is a member of the Association Rastikarhut of Satakunta. In Finnish Championships, she won titles in 2003 (normal distance ), 2004 ( Sprint, normal distance, long distance and night skiing), 2005 ( normal and long distance ), 2006 ( Sprint ) and 2007 ( middle distance ).

She is married to the orienteers Tero Fohr.
