Helle Virkner

Bright genius Virkner ( born September 15, 1925 in Gammel Rye, East Jutland, Denmark, † 10 June, 2009 Charlottenlund, Gentofte, Denmark) was a Danish actress.

Life

She was the daughter of landowner Moritz Lotinga and Ellen Larsine Rasmussen. After her high school graduation she worked as an extra on Folketeatret and Det Ny Teater on. From 1944 to 1946 she attended the Royal Theater School. There she met William Rosenberg, whom she married on October 6, 1946. As early as 1949 her first marriage ended in divorce. From 1946 to 1951 she worked as an actress at the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen. Then they played at many different theaters in Copenhagen.

They also played with many Danish film productions, such Kispus (1956 ), Mor skal giftes (1958), a part of the love for movies ( 1959-1961 ), Olsen Gang and Matador. One of her recent roles was in 2000 Flickering Lights when Aunt Beate.

Virkner was in a second marriage (1949-1959) married to actor Ebbe Rode. From her third marriage (1959-1973) Jens Otto Krag with the politician the children Astrid Helene called Jens Christian went Søsser and forth.
