Hellenic Imperial Airways

Hellenic Imperial Airways is a Greek airline based in Athens and based on the Airport Athens Eleftherios Venizelos.

History

Hellenic Imperial Airways was founded in 2006. Since the start of flight operations, the machinery of society were initially used only for charter flights, which also targets already served in Germany. Since then, some scheduled flights are offered in the meantime.

2010 was awarded as the best European Charter Company of the Year Hellenic Imperial Airways by British Institute of Transport Management.

During the civil war in Libya, 2011, the Company adopted the 3000 evacuation of Chinese citizens who were flown from Tripoli to Bangkok, Shanghai, Beijing and Hanoi.

In addition to charter flights Hellenic Imperial Airways also offers several scheduled flights to the Middle East and New York City.
