Helmut Sturm

Helmut Sturm ( born February 21, 1932 in Furth im Wald, † 20 February in Pullach 2008 ) was a German painter.

Storm studied from 1952 to 1958 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. He co-founded the group SPUR, which existed from 1957 to 1965. In 1970 he was co-founder of the Children's Forum in the premises of the Forum Galerie van de Loo in Munich. From 1980 to 1982 he was a visiting professor at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin held. In 1985, he attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich the chair by Günter Fruhtrunk and kept it until 1998. Several works by storm from the donation Otto van de Loo will be exhibited at the Kunsthalle in Emden.
