Helplessness Blues is the second studio album by American indie band Fleet Foxes. It was released on 29 April 2011 in Europe and on May 2, 2011 in the United States commercially on Bella Union / Sub Pop, but was a few days earlier listenable as an official stream.

Recording

The recordings lasted for a relatively long time, the album should have been originally released much earlier. When mixing the recordings in September 2010 in New York, the band was unhappy with the starting material and played many songs again completely new one.
