Hemsin (Armenian or Armenian Համշէն Համամաշէն on German hamams Weiler, also known as Tambur ) is a town and a district in the province of Rize in Turkey. The town has 1,570 inhabitants and the county nearly 2,474 inhabitants. The county Hemsin one of the smaller counties and is centered in the province. The city lies at the foot of Ceğalver mountain, surrounded by wooded mountains.
