Hendrik Zwaardemaker

Hendrik Zwaardemaker ( born May 10, 1857 in Haarlem, † September 19, 1930 in Utrecht ) was a Dutch physiologist.

Life

He was the son of a bookseller and publisher and writer Jacoba Berendina Visscher.

In 1874 he began in Amsterdam his studies in medicine at the Atheneum illustrious, which was collected soon after the university. 1879-1881 he devoted himself as prosector of Wilhelm Kühne of pathological anatomy and then physiology in the laboratory of Prof. Place.
