Hendry Thomas (born 23 February 1985) is a Honduran football player. The national team is the cousin of David also active as a professional footballer Maynor Suazo and Suazo.
Career
The midfielder started playing football for CD Olimpia, where he made his debut in the highest Honduran league at the age of 16 years. At age 23, he completed a trial with Toulouse FC in the French Ligue 1, but his lack of experience eventually defeated a contract signing. Shortly thereafter, endangered a serious knee injury, even the pursuit of his career.
After the 2008/ 09 season, Thomas moved for 1.8 million euros to Wigan Athletic, where he enjoyed the confidence of the beginning of the Spanish coach Roberto Martínez and immediately won a starting berth.
His first international match in the Honduran national team, he played on 23 February 2005 against Guatemala.
