Henk Bleker

Hinderk " Henk " The Bleacher ( born July 26, 1953 in Onstwedde, Groningen ) is a Dutch politician of the Christian Democratisch Appèl (CDA ).

Life

After visiting the Ubbo Emmius Lyceum in Stadskanaal he began in 1971 a degree in political science at the Free University of Amsterdam and graduated in 1977. Already during his studies he was 1975 Employees at the Home Office and then from 1976 to 1984 Research Assistant at the University of Groningen. In addition, he began his political career when he was a representative of the CDA as member of the Parliament of the province of Groningen ( Provinciale Staten van Groningen ) was elected in June 1982 and this remained until April 2003. During this time he was initially from 1991 to April 1999 Chairman of the Group of CDA in the Provinciale Staten van Groningen, then deputy of the Groningen province of Welfare, Welfare and Sport, and between April 2003 and March 2007 deputy of the province of Groningen for traffic, transport, water and energy.

In between, he was also from November 2001 to October 2010 Secretary and Member of the Executive Board of the CDA. After he was briefly a member of the provincial parliament in March, he was from March 2007 to May 2009 again deputy of the province of Groningen and although now of Agriculture, Nature, Environment and administrative organization.

Bleacher, who was director of the radio station RTV Noord May to October 2010 was the provisional June to October 2010 Chairman of the CDA.

He was appointed by Prime Minister Mark Rutte in the Cabinet on 14 October 2010 and has been responsible as Secretary of State in the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation of Agriculture, Nature, food quality, trade policy, tourism and postal services.
