Henri Proglio

Henri Proglio ( born June 29, 1949 in Antibes ) is a French manager.

Life

Proglio studied economics in Paris at the École des hautes études commerciales de Paris. After graduating, he got a job at the French company Compagnie Générale des Eaux, which he headed from 1990. He became Vice President of Vivendi Universal and Chairman and CEO of the former Vivendi Water, as Veolia Water is part of Veolia today in 1999. In 2009, he joined the French energy company Electricite de France (EDF ), the CEO and president he succeeded Pierre Gadonneix is.

His twin brother René Proglio is France CEO of Morgan Stanley.
