Henry C. Gordon

Henry Charles Gordon ( born December 23, 1925 in Valparaiso, Indiana, USA, † September 24, 1996 in Peoria, Arizona, United States) was a colonel in the United States Air Force and USAF astronaut.

Gordon received in 1950 a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University and 1966 MBA at the University of Southern California. He was selected in April 1960 as Dyna- Soar astronaut and trained at the Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards Air Force Base in California. Gordon ended his career as an astronaut in December 1963 with the cancellation of the Dyna- Soar program without being flown into space.

He was a fighter pilot in Vietnam and Korea.
