Henry Kaltenbrunn

Henry Gustave cold Brunn (* May 15, 1897, † February 15, 1971 in Benoni ) was a South African cyclist.

Henry Kaltenbrunn participated twice in the Olympic Games. In 1920 he started the time trial and won the silver medal. In the team pursuit on the track he also won the bronze medal with James Walker, William Smith and Sammy Goosen.

After the individual time trial Kaltenbrunn was initially proclaimed the winner. But then decided the jury, the times in which had some riders on closed crossings must wait to withdraw, and cold Brunn slipped to second place.

Four years later, at the Olympic Games in Paris, cold Brunn started again in the road race, finishing in eleventh place. The race over 50 kilometers on the Velodrome de Vincennes he could not finish.
