Heinrich von Falkenberg, also Henry of Opole - Falkenberg; * 1340; † September 14, 1382 ) was Duke of Opole from 1362/65 Duke of Falkenberg. He was a vassal of the crown of Bohemia and came from the Opole Silesian branch of the Piast dynasty.

Life

Henry's parents were Bolko II of Falkenberg and Euphemia, daughter of Duke Henry VI Breslauer.

After the death of his father 1362/65 took over Henry's eldest brother Boleslaw / Bolko the regency over the Duchy of Falkenberg at the same time for the second-born Wenzel and the youngest brother Henry.

After the older brother Boleslaw / Bolko 1367 or 1368 followed the father in death, Henry and Wenceslas ruled jointly. Wenzel died already in 1369 but also without issue. The then 16-year old Henry was thus from 1369 alone reigning Duke of Falkenberg.
