Action

After Henry Poole has learned from his doctor that he has only a short time to live, he buys a house in a suburb of Los Angeles. He meets his neighbor Esperanza know and gives her to understand that he wants to be left alone. Poole also learns the single neighbor Dawn Stupek and their mute daughter Millie know. After a prayer Esperanza believes this to recognize the face of Jesus Christ in a water stain on a wall of Poole's house. Esperanza it shows the members and the pastor of her church community.
