Heo Su-gyeong

Huh Su- kyung or Ho Su -gyeong (* 1964 in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam -do) is a South Korean writer and archaeologist.

Life

Huh Su- kyung studied from 1987 Korean language and literature at the University Kyongsang. In the same year she made at the literary magazine " Shilcheon Munhak " ( Literature for commitment ) her debut as a poet with poems, including Hot sun rays. At volumes of poetry Huh Su- kyung has There is no food, such as pain, The distant house where I go alone, Though my soul is old published.

It was followed by the prose, the Chinese restaurant in the alley and the Roman city of sand. In 2001 she received the Tongseo Literature Prize.

In 1992 she moved to Germany and began studying Near Eastern Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern philology there. She continued to write poems and stories, such as Sand City.

In 2003 she married the archaeologist Reinhard Dittmann.
