Her by wither nights is the third album by the Austrian Dark Metal band Dornenreich.

Background

Her by wither nights is the first concept album by the band, the conceptual relationship between the songs itself is not very strong recognizable, but is more created by the transitional texts in the booklet that were printed before the individual lyrics.

The focus of the entire plot revolves around the self-knowledge of a man and his associated Incarnation. It starts with the fact that the " human being ", in which it is the protagonist, at night in a dream-like forest scenario - the "wither Night " - again finding wakes up and faces the problem of self-knowledge.

In the end, the protagonist manages to self-knowledge, which can be seen narcissistic traits, but which were better than to sink into loneliness and depression. Nature is personified in this case more often and death occurs at the end as the last audience when time loses interest in the nature.

Layout

The cover is - similar to the previous releases - again opened sparse, the artwork shows only one bright, human figure against a dark background. It is the album name. The band name is specified only on the back with the title list. The printing on the CD shows a motive, but only printed in black uppercase phrase " goose bumps instead of single file " on completely white background.

Compared with the two previous albums, not to die and bitter is it to serve the death, Jochen Stocks voice is clearly more prominent than before.
