Herbert Akroyd Stuart

Herbert Akroyd Stuart ( born January 28, 1864 in Halifax ( West Yorkshire ), † February 19, 1927 in Halifax ) was an English inventor. He reported, among others, in 1890 in London to a four-stroke hot bulb engine patent.

With his inventions Stuart came into competition with the diesel engine, but ultimately prevailed.
