Heredia Province

Heredia is the smallest province of Costa Rica and is located in the north of the country. To the north it borders Nicaragua, on the east by the province of Limón, on the south by the province of San José and to the west of Alajuela. The capital is Heredia ( city of flowers ). The province has an area of ​​2657 km ² of ( 5%) and had 2011 433 677 inhabitants ( 10%).
