Herías

Herias is one of five parroquias the community Illano in the autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain.

The 66 inhabitants (2011) live in the valley of the Rio Villar. The municipal capital Illano is 14 km away. The main industry of the area is the country - and livestock, see the small guest houses, only few nature-loving hikers. In neighboring Ponticiella Stone Age finds and dolmens can be seen. Herias is located at Camino a Oviedo of St James, this route is also called Camino de los Moros or Classic detour to Oviedo.
