Hermen Rode ( * before 1465; † after 1504) was a German painter.
Importance
Rode is occupied documented in Lübeck as a painter of the late Middle Ages, especially of altars, for the said period of their lives. It is equivalent in his time next to Bernt Notke, even for the Hanseatic art export of Lübeck in the entire Baltic region.
