Heston Blumenthal

Heston Blumenthal OBE ( born May 27, 1966 in London) is the chef and owner of the restaurant " The Fat Duck" in Bray, (Berkshire ), which was awarded three Michelin stars.

Life

At the age of 16 years, Blumenthal discovered the fine dining during a France vacation. He acquired his cooking skills to self, acquired in 1995 the 450 year old pub "The Bell " in the center of Bray and renamed it " The Fat Duck". Blumenthal cooks there classic French bistro dishes. In close collaboration with the physics professor Peter Barham from the University of Bristol he was trying to understand the scientific basics of cooking and to apply the principles developed so before its courts.
