Topography

The creek originates in a 20 -meter-wide, combined with a shore masonry basin to around 297 meters above sea level in the south of the district south of the Ronsdorf Heidter road near the outskirts of Remscheid. After a 50-meter- long pipes, through which the river passes under a meadow fallow, he gets into a system of several larger and smaller ponds. These ponds are partially used as fish ponds.

About 320 meters from the source leads of Heusiepen through a grassy area adjacent to private gardens. Here he runs piped under a dirt road. After a further 220 meters of the creek leads to the same Remscheid Hofschaft Heusiepen again passing several ponds. Another piping takes place around 860 meters from the source.

After approximately 1.3 kilometers from the source of Heusiepen flows to around 224 meters above sea level in the Saalbach.
