Hilario López

Hilario López García ( born November 18, 1907 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, † January 23, 1987 in Mexico), also known by the nickname Moco, was a Mexican football player who was used both in the midfield and in the forward line.

Biography

El Moco López began his career in the ranks of his home club Club Deportivo Nacional and changed in 1928 in the Mexican capital to play for the newly formed club Marte in the Capital League. In 1930 he was part of the Mexican squad at the inaugural FIFA World Cup in Uruguay, where he played all the games of the Mexican national team. In the 1930s, he joined the company also located in the capital club Necaxa and was an important part of the team that the Mexican soccer league in the 1930s largely dominated and as Once hermanos ( eleven brothers ) went down in football history in Mexico. Between 1934/35 and 1936/37, was Hilario López three times in a row, top scorer in the Primera Fuerza.
