Nacional de Guadalajara

The Club Nacional de Guadalajara, commonly referred to as Nacional de Guadalajara, is a Mexican sports club in Guadalajara, the capital of the state of Jalisco. Its football team was 1961-1965 represented in the highest Mexican league.

History

The roots of the club go back to 1915, when some street boys a football team put in a less affluent district of the city of Guadalajara on the legs, which they gave the name Victoria. In neighboring Barrio Del Fuerte some other guys also walked along the paths of the English sport and so it happened that the two teams competed for a showdown against each other. Soon, they decided to merge and gave her the name of the merged project Unión.
