Hilary Rudolph Robert Blood

Sir Hilary Rudolph Robert Blood ( born May 28, 1893 in Kilmarnock, † June 20, 1967 in Kent ) was a British colonial official.

Between 23 March 1942 and March 29, 1947 he was governor in British Gambia and represented George VI. in the British colony. Subsequently he was employed in the colony of Mauritius from 26 September 1949 to January 11, 1954 as governor.

Blood was knighted in 1944.
