Hilber village is a district of the Saxon village of Bobritzsch - Hilber village in the district of Central Saxony.
Geography
The Waldhufendorf Hilber village lies east of the Freiberger Mulde at a right tributary, and on the south by Weissenborn / Erzgeb., The west and north of Freiberg. After Freiberg is 3 km and 33 km to Dresden. To Hilber village belonged until 31 December 2011, the district Muldenhütten.
History
Hilber village was first mentioned around 1166 under the name Hilde Brandis village. The founding of the town is believed to be due to the year 800 and was originally probably named after a farmer named Hildebrand. The development of Hilber village was largely determined by the discovery of silver in the Freiberg mining district.
The village belonged to the merger with Bobritzsch on 1 January 2012, the management community to Freiberg. As part of the resolution, the industrial area Muldenhütten was assigned without consideration to the town of Freiberg, which deteriorates the income situation of the municipality.

Memorials
