Hildener Jazztage

The Hilden Jazz Days are a 1996 annual summer -find music festival in the town of Hilden. Over 6000 visitors per season come to this event.

Among the artists are both musicians from the German jazz scene as well as internationally known quantities. Among the most famous guests included Billy Cobham, Pee Wee Ellis, Ed Thigpen, Nigel Kennedy, Jeff Berlin and Jeff Hamilton.

Although the festival is based on the jazz genre, often occur musicians from different genres such as modern jazz, fusion, funk, Latin, blues, rock and world music.

The changes taking place at various venues in Hilden concerts are partially recorded by WDR radio and broadcast on the radio station WDR 3.
