The rear is the soul Kogel after the nearby Hohe Wilde with a height of 3470 m above sea level. A. the second highest peak in Gurgler comb in the Ötztal Alps. In withdrawing to the north ridge of the Middle ( 3424 m) and the Front soul Kogel are offshore ( 3286 m).

The name comes from the small lakes ( " souls "), which are located on the northwest side of the Seelenkögel.

The easiest ascent leads along the South Tyrolean side of Area Plan on the Zwickau hut and the East Ridge. This increase is glacier -free, but the east ridge requires sure-footedness (L ).
