Hirschberg (Bavaria)

The Hirschberg is a 1668 meter high mountain in the Bavarian Alps south of Lake Tegernsee.

The summit is accessible as easy hike either of Scharling, Kreuth or Bad Wiessee, all three options are not difficult. Below the summit is at 1511 m throughout the year and managed Hirschberghaus. The Hirschberg is considered Tegernsee mountain views with far reaching panoramic in all directions. In winter it is like to climb on skis from Kreuth on the Rauheck pasture or walk from Scharling. The path leads easily on the toboggan run up to the deer paints, then steep and sometimes icy on the so-called scratch for Hirschberghaus and finally on the freedom back to the summit. The summer trail is to avalanches in winter and should not be committed.

The just mentioned scratches is a 1,544 m high peaks of the side Hirschbergs with summit cross and the Hirschberghaus.
