The HMS Otus is a submarine of the Oberon - class of the Royal Navy.

The submarine was put at the service of the Royal Navy in 1963 and knew where his service in the First Submarine Squadron.

The Otus was, among others, during the Falklands War and the Persian Gulf in use. After 28 years of service Otus was decommissioned in 1991. Later the boat was bought by a German entrepreneur. Following the transfer to Germany it was overtaken outboard in the Stralsund shipyard people and got a new paint in original color. Since then, the Otus is a U- Boot-Museum "World of Submarine" to visit in Sassnitz harbor.
