The 1960 Service Asked HMS Yarmouth ( F101 ) was a frigate of the Rothesay - class (Type 12M modified) the British navy.

History

The Yarmouth was laid on 29 November 1957 by John Brown & Company in Kiel. She ran on 23 March 1959 by the stack and was put into service on 26 March 1960. She was intended for submarine combat.

On 13 July 1965, the Yarmouth collided in front of Portland Bill with the British submarine HMS Tiptoe. After the repair, they operated in the years of the Cold War in the Atlantic and in 1982 took part in the Falklands War. You barely escaped the sinking by an Exocet anti-ship missiles, which had been fired from a Super Étendard the Argentine Navy Air Force. This met the HMS Sheffield, which later decreased.

The Yarmouth was filed on April 30, 1986 decommissioned and sunk on 30 June 1987 by the HMS Manchester during a maneuver.
