Hodětín

Hodětín ( German Hodietin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers south-east of Bechyně in South Bohemia and belongs to Okres Tábor.

Geography

Hodětín is located on a plateau in the southern foothills of the hill country Bechyně ( Bechyňská pahorkatina ). East of the village lies the pond Rožberk. To the north extends the Černická obora nature park, north west is the military airfield Bechyně.

Neighboring towns are Německý Dvůr Blatec and Sudoměřice u Bechyně in the north, Hlavatce, Svinky, Benešovská Hajnice and Komárovská Hajnice in the northeast, Komarov in the east, Kozelka, U Ryndů, Klečaty and Zálší the southeast, Hartmanice, Korákovská Hájovna, Korákov, Markovna and Krakovčice in the south, and Hvožďánek Záhoří the southwest, Březnice in the west and Čečkov, Hodonice, Jamník and Blatec in the northwest.

History

The discovery of a pagan burial site at farm No. 8 ( U Martínků ) in 1888 suggests that the place was already inhabited in the early period.

The first written mention of Hodětín was made in 1419 in connection with the override of the Pisek castle with accessories by King Wenceslas IV to the viscount of Protivín Jan Hájek of Hodětín, 550 shock royal control. January Hájek had a stronghold in Hodětín with Vorwerk. He was later royal chefs, sub- Chamberlain in Bohemia and Moravia and last Viscount of Klingenberg. After his death, inherited the Transition from 1429 to 1430 whose daughter Kateřina of Hodětín possession. Later, the Good Hodětín has been connected to the rule Bechyně.

In 1840, which lies along the road Sobieslauer Hodietin village of 28 houses consisted of 218 residents. To place belonged to the abstruse points of stately bastion Marka. Vicarage Sudoměřitz .. Until the mid-19th century Hodietin remained subservient always Bechyně.

After the abolition of patrimonial Hodětín / Hodietin formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Milevsko / Mulhouse and the jurisdiction Bechyně / Bechyně. In 1880 the village consisted of 29 houses and 209 inhabitants had. 1921 lived in 31 houses of Hodětín 181 people. 1923, the village was connected to the electricity grid. On 3 October 1929 large fire destroyed large parts of the village. After the dissolution of Okres Milevsko the community was part of the 1948 Okres Tyn nad Vltavou. After its abolition end of 1960 Hodětín was assigned to the Okres Tábor. On November 26, 1971 Blatec and Nová Ves were incorporated. At the beginning of 1975 was the annexation of Hodětín and its districts after Březnice. After a referendum Hodětín, Blatec and Nová Ves dissolved November 24 again in 1990 Březnice off and formed their own community.

The municipality consists of the villages Hodětín Blatec ( Blatitz ) Hodětín ( Hodietin ) and Nová Ves ( Neudorf ), the settlement Kozelka and the monolayer Čečkov, Jamník I Markovna (Marka ), Německý Dvůr and U Ryndů.
