Hoher List Observatory

The High List is a 549.1 m above sea level. NN high stratovolcano near the town of Daun in the Eifel district volcanic Eifel region of Rhineland -Palatinate ( Germany ).
Geographical location
The High List is located in the volcanic Eifel region, a part of the Eifel, in the Natural Park of the Volcanic Eifel. It is located about 4.5 km (as the crow flies) south of the city down, directly southwest of the located at Schalke Maar Schalkenmehren.
Mountain Description
At the top of his little wooded knoll stands the Observatory Hoher List and on his 540.1 m high, heavily wooded foothills southwest the Altburg.
West past the crest of the High Lists runs as part of the Eifel-Ardennes road section of the provincial road 64, the Schalkenmehren connects to the north with Brockscheid in the south.
