Salith Šumperk (until 2009 Hokej Šumperk 2003) is an ice hockey club from Šumperk, Czech Republic, back plays in the second-rate first league of the Czech Republic since 2011.

History

The club was founded in 1945 as TJ ZELEZNICAR Šumperk. In 1969, the 3500 -seat ice rink was opened. Until the 1990s, the club played at the regional level before 1995, the rise as HC Šumperk succeeded in the second league. 1998 and 1999 became the first team champions this league and managed the 1999 promotion to the 1st League. But back in 2002 was followed by the relegation and the dissolution of the association.

As Hokej Šumperk 2003, the club was founded in 2003 and abolished in 2007 the newly re-emergence in the first league. At the end of the following season the team only reached the bottom of the table and rose again in the second league.

At the end of the 2008 /09 was the club champion of East- Season 2 of League and sat in qualifying for the first league through, so that the team from 2009 played second class again. In the following season the club was relegated again, before he again won the championship of the East season in 2011 and took part in the League relegation. In this Salith Šumperk managed to promotion back to the 1st league.
