Hollywood is a railway station in the regional and long distance traffic on the railway line from Mangonia Park and New York City to Miami International Airport. It is located in Hollywood in Broward County, Florida.

History

The station was originally built in 1928 by the Seaboard Air Line Railroad and designed by the architect Gustav Maass in the Mediterranean style. The waiting room, which was determined earlier for the colored population was in 1963 converted into an office of Seaboard Society after the end of segregation. The station is connected to the Fort Lauderdale station further north visually identical.

The station was approached to 1953, among others, the luxury passenger Orange Blossom Special. The Silver Meteor, which was acquired in 1971 by Amtrak, operated since 1939 the station. In addition to the Silver Meteor now also holds the Silver Star in Hollywood. Since 1989, the station is also served by regional trains of the Tri-Rail.
