HolyHell

HolyHell is an American power metal band.

History

The band was founded in 2005, which already has of the singer Maria Breon, guitarists Joe Stump and Tom Hess, bassist Jay Rigney, keyboardist Francisco Palomo and the former drummer of the band Manowar, Kenny "Rhino" Earl is the only member of a certain level of recognition founded. The name is the combination of some contrasts, of a woman's voice and the sounds of electric guitars, show here.

The release of her debut album was postponed to allow the band Manowar and Rhapsody of Fire 2007, go to the Demons, Dragons and Warriors Tour, at the HolyHell the two bands had accompanied as early as 2005. 2005 HolyHell were also at the Earthshaker Festival and on the Czech metal festival Masters of Rock.

The first release of the band, a single with the name Apocalypse, took place in March 2007. Producer was Manowar bassist Joey DeMaio, who is also, together with Manuel Staropoli composer of songs .. On 26 June 2009 the debut album was released HolyHell. It includes 13 tracks, 3 of which were already included on the single Apocalypse. The total playing time is just under 71 minutes.

In early 2011 drummer Rhino left the band and was in the meantime by John Macaluso (ex Riot, Yngwie Malmsteen uA ) replaced, which is regarded as a permanent member since fall 2011. With him is working on a new album, which was announced in 2012. The album, which was titled Darkness Visible, you have to want to publish it despite initial announcement in parallel with the Manowar album, The Lord of Steel moved to autumn 2012. Instead, they brought the EP Darkness Visible - Remove The Warning, which contains three songs from the upcoming album.

In September 2012, HolyHell announced on your Facebook page, is that they are from the current management ( and label) Magic Circle Music disconnect.

Guest musicians

In the HolyHell interpretation of the song Phantom Of The Opera is heard as a phantom in a duet with Maria Breon Manowar vocalist Eric Adams.

In return, Francisco Palomo can also be heard every now and then as a guest keyboardist Manowar.
