Hong Yong-jo

Hong Yong -jo ( May 22nd, 1982 in Pyongyang ) is a North Korean football player.

Club career

Hong came into existence, the club of the Korean People's Army until 2007 April 25 internationally as a player of the sports group. In early 2008 he was allowed as one of the few born in North Korea player to leave the country and played the first half of 2008, the Serbian capital club FK Bežanija, for he came to seven appearances for Erstligaabstieg. In the summer, he joined the Russian second division side FK Rostov, with whom he made the ascent into the Premjer League at end of season. After the 2010 season, his expiring contract in Russia was not renewed. He returned in the summer of 2011 to his hometown club, sports group April 25 back.

National

Hong since 2002 already belongs to the North Korean national team. He came in qualifying for the Asian Cup 2004 missions, and in 2003 and 2005 in the finals of the King's Cup in Thailand. 2005 and 2007 he took part in the qualifying rounds for the East Asia Championship, took place for the respective finals but not taken into account.
