Honoré II, Prince of Monaco

Honoré II of Monaco (* December 24, 1597; † January 10, 1662 ) from the family of Grimaldi was from 1604 to 1662 Mr. and later Prince of Monaco.

Life

Honoré was the son of Hercule of Monaco. At the age of seven he is confirmed by the death of his father on 21 November 1604 the " University " ( Council of Monaco) as his successor. The guardianship takes his maternal uncle Frederico Landi, Prince of Valdetare.
