Horn (diacritic)
The Horn ( viet.: Dau MOC ) is a diacritical mark, which o and u attaches to the upper right corner of the letter to get in Vietnamese the o and u, the unrounded variants of the vowels, which are represented by the underlying case; < O> represents the phoneme / ə ː /, is closed unrounded back vowel / ɯ / ( also / ɨ / ). In Vietnam, the horn is hardly viewed as a separate diacritic, o and u are in contrast rather construed as a separate letter.
