Horní Paseky

Horni Paseky until 1948 in Horni Reuth ( German Oberreuth ) is a district of the Czech town of Cheb Aš in Okres.

Geography

Horni Paseky located five kilometers east of the city Aš in Elstergebirge. North-east rises the Straz ( Wachtberglifte, 716 m ) south of the Záhoř (744 m ) in the west of Skřivánčí vrch ( Lerchenberg, 736 m) and northwest of the Haj ( Hainberg, 757 m). In place of diligence Bach springs, two miles south the Weisse Elster.

Neighboring towns are Gürth in the north, Kleedorf, Ms. Green and Oberbrambach in the northeast, Bad Bramstedt in the east, Röthenbach High village, worry and bear village in the southeast, Výhledy in the south, Nebesa and Mokřiny the southwest, Vernéřov in the west and Dolni Paseky in the northwest.

History

The town was first mentioned in 1291 as a possession of the family Notthafft documented on Wildenstein. The location and other goods of the family were at the Nuremberg Castle Count Friedrich III. pledged. After the abolition of patrimonial Oberreuth formed in 1850 a part of the community Wernersreuth in the judicial district or county Asch Asch. In the year 1874, Oberreuth sparked off and became a separate municipality. A major fire in 1917 destroyed many buildings, many families emigrated from. In 1930 Oberreuth had 277 inhabitants.
