Horologium Supercluster

The Horologium Supercluster (also known as the Horologium - Reticulum Supercluster ), consisting of SCl 48 and SCl 49, of 550 million light- years in diameter and the mass of 1017 solar masses, the largest known superclusters. The coordinates are right ascension and declination 3190003h 19m 1499800-50 ° 02 ' and it extends over an angular range of 12 ° × 12 °. The closest in our part of the supercluster is 700 million light years ( redshift = 0.063 ) removed ( mainly lying on the picture below heap ). The other end is 1.2 billion light-years away from Earth (especially the pile in the picture above )

The Horologium Supercluster lies in the constellations of Horologium and Eridanus. It comprises about 5000 galaxy groups ( 30,000 and 300,000 galaxies dwarf galaxies ). The supercluster contains the galaxy cluster Abell 3266, one of the largest in the southern sky. The map shows every galaxy clusters, which is brighter than the apparent magnitude 17.
