HorrorPops

The Horrorpops are a native of Denmark band that exists since 1996.

Style

Can be described as a mix of Psychobilly, Rockabilly and Punk Music of the group. A characteristic feature is the use of a double bass as with many representatives of this genre.

The most obvious example is the punk rock legends The Cramps, which is also reflected in the appearance of the band.

History

1996 Patricia learned at Popkomm in Cologne, at the supporting program she attended with her band Peanut Pump Gun, Nekromantix the co-founder Kim Nekroman (born Dan Gaarde ) know. They decided to form a joint project. With the addition of two members of the band Strawberry Slaughterhouse the Horrorpops were born.

After several line- up changes ( among others, were two dancers for the live shows obliged ), the band today frontwoman Patricia Day (vocals, bass), Kim Nekroman (guitar), low- Meier (drums), former Tiger Army and AFI bassist Geoff Kresge (guitar ), and the two hostesses Kamilla and Naomi.

After the Horrorpops years toured almost exclusively, three regular albums have now appeared which were published by Epitaph Records sublabel Hellcat.

Patricia and Kim are now married, as well as Camilla and Geoff.
