Horst-Bienek-Preis für Lyrik
The Horst- Bienek Prize for Poetry is an international literary award, conferred by the literature of the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts since 1991. With him the complete works of a poet is honored.
The Foundation grew out of the estate of Horst Bieneks, he bequeathed to the Academy. The prize is awarded at the beginning of December; to 2003 the award annually since 2005 in two annual basis. The grand prize is worth 10,000 euros, which is usually the same award prize of 2,500 euros. ( 2007, the two main prizes were endowed with 10,000 euros, the prize of 5,000 euros. )
