Horst Christopeit
Horst Christopeit ( born August 15, 1939) is a former German football player, who moved as captain of the VfL Bochum in 1968 in the DFB Cup final. He is an entrepreneur in Hattingen and from 2002 to 2010 Member of the Supervisory Board of VfL Bochum.
Career
Horst Christopeit moved in 1957 from the youth of the SSVg 09 /12 Holy House to Schwarz-Weiß Essen. On Uhlenkrug Christopeit remained only the role of the substitute goalkeeper behind Hermann Merchel before he continued his career with the SSV Hagen. The VfL Bochum finished second in the 1962/ 63 in the 2nd League West only 14th place and was therefore not classified for the Round 1963/64, in the new Regionalliga West.
