Horst Fügner

Horst Fügner ( born March 11, 1923) is a former German motorcycle racer.

Career

Fügner ran from 1950 motorcycle racing. In 1955 he was first ³ DDR - road master class to 125 cm. He was works driver in MZ and took from 1957 to 1959 at the motorcycle world championship part. His biggest success was the vice world champion in 1958 in the 250 cc class behind the Italian MV Agusta pilots Tarquinio Provini. After a heavy crash during practice for the 125cc race at the Grand Prix of Belgium 1959 in Spa -Francorchamps he had to end his career.
