Hosby ( German Hosbi, estonia Swedish Hosbe ) is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Vormsi ( Vormsi vald ) in Lääne. The place is located in the southeast of the fourth largest Estonian island of Vormsi ( German Worms, Swedish Ormsö ).

Description

The place was built on the site of the former manor of Söderby, directly on the Baltic coast.

Between Hosby and the village Sviby is a large boulder, the Skärestein. It has a circumference of 22 meters and a height of 3.4 meters. Since 1941 the stone is under protection.
