Hoshang Merchant
Hoshang Merchant ( born 1947 in Mumbai) is an Indian author, poet and teacher.
Life
Merchant attended St. Xavier 's College in Mumbai. His master, he reached in English Studies at Occidental Colleg in Los Angeles. He studied the literature Subjects Renaissance and modernism and 1981 he managed the PhD. His dissertation on Anais Nin wrote Merchant at Purdue University. After studying Merchant taught at Heidelberg, in Jerusalem and in Iran. Since the middle of 1980, he lives in Hyderabad, where he teaches English at the University of Hyderabad. As an author, Merchant wrote 13 books with poetry and two literature reviews. Merchant is the editor of India's first anthology of gay content: Yaraana: Gay Writing from India.
