Hot Chelle Rae is a Pop-/Rock-Band from Nashville, Tennessee and consists of lead singer Ryan Follese, guitarist Nash Overstreet, Ian Keaggy bassist and drummer Jamie Follese.

History

Hot Chelle Rae began in 2005, with a meeting with the singer and songwriter Ryan ( RK) Follese and Nash Overstreet guitarist. The band began unsigned with the name Miracle Drug, changed the name but later in Hot Chelle Rae. The name comes from Chelle Rae, a MySpace fan who identified herself as a model and wanted to help the band with their alleged links with the music industry, until it turned out that she was neither model had relations with the music industry. Overstreet is the son of country music singer-songwriter Paul Overstreet and the brother of actor Chord Overstreet. The Follesés are the sons of country songwriter Keith Follese and Keaggy is the son of Phil Keaggy.

In summer 2007, the band played as the opening act at a sold-out concert for rapper Lil Jon. Some time later, also this year, they played a series of events at South by Southwest, a music festival in Austin / Texas ( USA), and then went on tour with the band Vedera. They also played as the opening act for Taylor Swift on her world tour ' Speak Now '.

In October 2008, the band signed with Jive Records signed a contract and began work on her first album, ' Lovesick Electric '.

On January 29, 2012 Played Hot Chelle Rae at the Pro Bowl in Hawaii her single ' I like it like that '. This is probably her most usually seen appearance in only partly occupied Aloha Stadium to 48 423 spectators and millions were in front of the TV screens on the whole world.
