Chord Overstreet
Chord Overstreet ( born February 17, 1989 in Nashville, Tennessee) is an American actor and singer, best known for his role as Sam Evans on the hit series Glee, in which he is seen from the second season.
Life
Overstreet is the third of six children of country singer and songwriter Paul Overstreet. The first name is derived from the English word for chord - Chord - from. His parents encouraged him from the beginning, to devote himself to music. In early years, he began playing mandolin, and soon after, drums and guitar. In his youth he was modeling for example, for Famous Footwear and Gap. He also writes music, but is not under contract.
He was from July 2011 to February 2012 in a relationship with Emma Roberts.
Career
Overstreet started his acting career in the Internet series Private. He also had a guest appearance in an episode broadcast on the Nickelodeon series iCarly, as well as youth in the unaired pilot episode of My Superhero Family.
In the second season of the musical series Glee, he played the recurring role of Sam Evans. When he sang Casting Easy by the Commodores ' as well as Gavin DeGraw 's I Do not Want to Be in the studio and took the song Billionaire by Travie McCoy and Bruno Mars to which he then sang in an episode of the series. After Overstreet was not promoted for the third season of the protagonist, he left the series. One month after the third season has started, but he changed his mind, so that it can be seen from the eighth episode of the season again.
Since the beginning of the fourth season in September 2012, he is one of the main cast of Glee.
